We’ve recently partnered with the Inara team to help us find two integral hires for the next stage of our journey here at Fuzzy Labs. When Toby first came to us offering his expertise to find our Head of Engineering, we were slightly sceptical, but after getting to know him through the Manchester event scene we decided to put our trust and faith in him and the Inara team.

The level of detail the team went into when it came to understanding Fuzzy Labs, the leadership team and the roles we had available was fantastic, and you can see how much this helped with the quality of people we were introduced too. The process the team then followed to give all parties involved a seamless hiring experience was amazing.

After working with the team for a short while we ended up opening up another role to them and asked them to help us find our next MLOps Tech Lead. We were again very impressed with the speed at which they were able to find us some amazing people, but most importantly was the quality of the people we were meeting.

Well having just left a role I had been in for over 7 years, Kate was a fantastic sounding board for my many questions about the fun and games of job hunting. She was excellent at drawing out some of my skills and experiences that I had overlooked or maybe not valued as highly as I should.

What really stood out for me was that throughout the whole process it felt like having a good honest chat with a friend about my next steps and what was a big decision for me.

Kate was always on hand to chat and really normalised what can feel like a very odd process. Communications were absolutely spot on, I always felt I could reach out and have a chat if I needed and Kate was great at checking in but I didn’t feel rushed at any point.

She offered to hold interview stages before or after work since I was always working on site and also provided great advice prior to each interview stage which helped me prepare to a high level. I felt calm and well informed at each stage and any questions I had were swiftly answered.

Kate has the best communication of any recruiter I’ve worked with, using appropriate forms of communication (call/email/text) according to the urgency of the issue. She also kept in touch about key milestones throughout the process and made communicating with the company I applied to feel seamless. Kate also communicated frequently without being overbearing and was very responsive to any requests or questions I had.

Even after finding a role, Kate has been checking in to see if I have transitioned smoothly and offered a huge amount of support throughout the process of leaving my previous role.
